You may choose any of the following methods to obtain and submit your application:
• Fill Out Online:
Complete the application electronically, then download and print it for submission by mail or in person.
• Download and Manually Fill Out:
Download the application form, fill it in by hand, and then mail or hand-deliver it.
• Pick Up an Application:
Visit the Haverford Township Building at 1014 Darby Rd, Havertown, PA 19083, to pick up a printed application form in person.
All applications and fees are due on or before Friday, September 5, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
• Applications using a money order can be mailed or hand-delivered to the address above.
• Applications paying with cash must be submitted in person, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., to the address above.
No applications will be accepted after the deadline regardless of the postmark. Registration fee is nonrefundable.
An individul is not considered an applicant until the complete application is returned (No admission to test)
Prior to appointment you must be 21 years of age. Also, applicants must have a valid driver's license and high school diploma or GED.
The written test will be given on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Haverford High School Cafeteria, 200 Mill Road, Havertown, PA 19083 at 9:00 a.m. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. Doors will close at 8:50 a.m. This is the only notification you will receive for the written test.
Additional Information:
The top fifty (50) applicants with the highest written score will continue with the hiring process. Final applicants will have to pass an oral, physical and agility test, a psychological, polygraph examination and a background investigation.
