BOC Icon Recycling +

Haverford Township is dedicated to reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling what cannot be used. It is through these actions that we, as a community, can better support our environment – reducing pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.

Recycling is an easy and valuable action. Recycling helps to reduce the need for more raw materials, conserves valuable natural resources, saves energy, and reduces the amount of waste being sent to incinerators and landfills – which contributes to pollution and increases in greenhouse gas emissions.

Recycling doesn’t have to end at the blue bin. There are a number of ways to recycle items that are not accepted curbside.

Start collecting today and plan to bring your bread tags to the Township! The blue collection tube will be located just outside the front doors of the Township Building, near the personal care and oral care collection bins.
