All Year Phishing Email Alert Phishing emails look like they come from a legitimate source. However, when you examine the sender's email address, it is not the correct email address of the sender. Instead, the emails are sent from criminals trying to obtain information or infect your computer with a virus. Phishing can come from any source, including banks, etc. There have been reports of phishing emails that appear to originate from Haverford Township, but do not. If something doesn’t look right, the email address doesn't match, or you aren't expecting an email from that person – be safe and do not open the email. The Township recommends that you:
  • Do not click on or use the links inside the email.
  • Do not click on or open attachments in the email.
  • Do not call any phone numbers listed in the email.
Please call Haverford Township directly if you are unsure at (610) 446-1000.

06/25/2022 9am-1pm Haverford Township's E-Waste Event The Township is excited to provide this free service to our residents! Haverford Township has partnered with PAR-Recycleworks, a local not-for-profit, which hires formerly incarcerated men and women to recycle used electronics. Their mission is two-fold: working to restore lives by providing job training and transitional paid employment in a supportive environment, while also protecting the planet and assuring that e-waste is re-used and re-purposed. PAR-Recycle Works collects all computer equipment, printers, scanners, tablets, cell phones, telephones, keyboards, speakers, gaming systems, fax machines, DVD players, VCR’s, chargers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air purifiers, microwaves, computer monitors, small appliances and even TV’s (no console or large projection models)! PAR-Recycle Works is a first-level processing center for used electronics. Their workers deconstruct the items received and separate them into their major components. When necessary, they erase all data from hard drives before selling components to environmentally responsible downstream processors.
